For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.

When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).

After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

Well had to make a change in plans. Can't use the Ford HB. Up for sale. I found the regulator online used for the BMW unit, so i bought it. I will by a new bomb and a rebuilt HB unit. I have modded my 924 dog bowl. I will plate from the back side to fit the BMW unit, this way it will sit at the factory angle.
Can some one post the measurement of the BMW flange that mates to the dog bowl. I would like to verify this will work before i buy to much stuff. On a good note my new 951 MC will work.

This gives a good view of my issue. cant move the motor side to side, just down. I dont think the 1/2 spacer would work. Thoughts any one. BMW hydro guys, can you provide the dimensions of the HB mount plate to fire wall.

Offset the hydroboost to the driver side to clear the cylinder head. Then make a custom pushrod to make up for the offset.

Spence that is an option, I am hoping the BMW HB will sneak in there. If need be i will trim the valve cover where the mounts are for the coils.

Did you sell the ford setup yet? I bet you could make that work...

I think the BMW unit is the way to go. My steering and pedal supports would be to much to alter in that location. I tried with the ford 99% sure its a no go. All my BMW parts are in route, Cross my fingers and see what happens.

Having the new rear trailing arm bearings pressed in today. Then install the subs with my 930 adapters and new spring plate bushings etc then should be close to axle measure time. This should complete rear end. Happy days

The 930 axle adapters fit like a glove. Rob, thank you for another fine quality product.

Well the last couple of pieces for the torsion tube. These are 3/8" thick and are bent at 178 degrees. There purpose is to close off the open end of the TT and then reinforce the trailing arm mount location, this should ensure zero movement once welded in place. TT will then be complete and ready for refinishing.

Well picked up all my BMW Hydro boost parts on Saturday from the boarder. First had to shave down the MC were they mate. That's done.
I now need to slide the entire drive line forward about 1/2 in and if I can down an 1/8in. This will give me the axle location that I want but more importantly the room needed for the hydro boost. So get new plates made for the motor mount and relocate the ears a 1/2in towards the fire wall and done deal. The Suttle differences between the 44 and the 24 make my build a bit of a pita sometimes.

I think I will have to rotate the unit clock wise from 12 to 2. This gives me good space between the HB unit and the valve cover. Any body see any issue with doing this?

This is all 4 coil pacs stacked. fits well and leaves room for the HB unit.

Question, as my car was a cable clutch, what angle does the clutch MC sit at. I have swapped out my 24 pedal for a 44 pedal. Thanks.

it seems getting the angle right is key....I think this post says 6°

Many have complained about the Wilwood clutch MC's high failure rates.

Maybe one with a stainless steel sleeve would be worth the extra cost

Some 'persuasion' may need to be applied to the sheet metal around the rear of the strut tower.
