I'm owed parts that I paid for...been promised delivery but nada!!!!!

You're not alone. I just spoke with another member that has been shorted parts.

I hope nothing bad has happened. He had in the past always been timely with his responses to me.

He said that he had a back problem but promised to send parts.

I bought a complete kit but the pax side engine mount interfered with the compressor mount.
I'm waiting for a modified mount plus a gearbox reinforcement plate. Can't move foreward until
I have the engine mount.

I just hope he's okay. He's mentioned medical problems and I absolutely know all about back problems. We're talkin' serious pain.

same thing happened to xschop, he was suppose to send him a few tings and hasnt, ( far as i know) back pain sucks, but this needs to be straiten out.

I think I had 3 orders that were mistakenly marked as shipped in PayPal...
There was a specific reason for this, but it proved to be a big fat OOps.

I had stated the website / business had financial issues in previous posts, and that I had started a full-time job recently. Sorry you missed that. You guys should know how long I've been accomplishing things for this community by now, but the PayPal deal is merely a blunder on my part.

As far as "straightening this out" goes, I'm working on it.
Working 80 hr. weeks limits time available for fabrication / shipping also.
Re-financing this gig is first on my agenda, trust me.

I know you're pissed off, but I'm doing what I can when I can.
It doesn't grow overnight on a tree in my back yard...

Greg has always done well by me, he'll take care of you, minor delays do to tough circumstances, I think he will come through. Hang in there buddy!

I'm sorry that you are unable to perform but you are ignoring phone calls and emails.
perhaps if you had responding i(we) would be more understanding.
Fix things by giving us realistic ship dates for the items owed to us please.

This was the last contact I had with Greg Sloan, you can see that he promised to ship "the other parts tommorrow", it's now August Greg, I need to know what you are going to do to address the problem. No more excuses. I paid you money in good faith.

I have had maybe 5 days without pain over the last month, and I missed the emails somehow. The only thing left for your order is the pass. side upright, but I will go ahead and ship the other parts tomorrow AM. It may be a week still before I can drive to pick up the upright.

Sorry for the delays again, as the back injury is quite stubborn and debilitating. I truly regret your inconvenience to due my limited mobility. I will email you when I have the new uprights ready to ship.

I don't really give a $#** if you don't believe what I've had to endure being injured AND out of work. Bash me like Renegade? OK, I'll act like Renegade. I'll ship the parts you already paid for, like the transaxle plate and LS430 rings, but replacing uprights and set-back plates will require an additional, but very reasonable, fee. I won't be called a liar, and I will not send out free parts to someone that wants to be difficult. Simple as that. Now I"M pissed off.

I offered to make good on everything, and I am not disrupting your daily commute with the delays that have been out of my control. Several times shipping was delayed (and approved by you, Mike) due to your work schedule and being out of town. Not all of the delays are 100% my fault, and you know it. Others are being reasonable as they know I'm good for what I promise. NO ONE has been permanently "shorted" anything in the 3 years I have sold custom designed 944 parts (Crests, Manuals, and 944V8S Parts), but it looks like the BS stops here. Back me in a corner, and I will fight you back. I don't need, nor did I ask for this public bash-fest. My availability for responses has been limited, but I'm taking care of all issues as quickly as I can.

Face facts, no one has called you a liar, you are guilty of making promises that you have not fullfilled.
You screwed up the design for the passenger side motor mount and I did offer to pay for replacement parts. You told me that it was your error and that no I did not need to pay.

I have looked at all drawings, past and present, and come to a grim conclusion:
The existing passenger side set-back plate / upright need to be moved back.
1-1/2 - 2" further.

Obviously no one else has gotten this far yet, but if you'll give me about a week, I can fix this and
send you something that will work. I have other uprights to weld, and new set-back plates will be configured
this weekend.

It will take about a week to get the SB plates machined. The LS430 rings are done, and all parts can be
shipped together.

As for delays, I never told you to delay shipment, very much the opposite, you were told that I was in no hurry for the initial kit and that my work schedule kept me away from home and could not take delivery while away. Never were you inconveninced by this. I don't have a daily commute, you know that my flying job takes me away from home for two weeks at a time.

When you send emails that say you will ship tommorrow and don't, there is something wrong, and still nothing has arrived two months later.

I helped you with the starter motor trial fit, photos also.

If you really want to get in a pi----g contest, I have copies of all emails, I will be very happy to post them here.

Just provide what you promised, you have my money, that will be the last time I do business with you.

Finally, what is sad about this whole affair is your unwillingness to communicate, I have sent you emails, pm's on this site and left voice mails and you have ignored me. No wonder I'm angry.

PS I had to expose you on this site to get some response from you........done.

At least I'm willing to try and make this right, even if it means using borrowed money due to the business going bust. As I have said - It happened, I don't like it, but I'll fix it. As soon as freakin' possible...

Hey greg $#** happens and i know you will bounce back. It sucks waiting for parts but just be patience guys greg will get you the parts it may just take some time. Im sure your car isnt waiting on this one thing to be finished there are probably a few more things you could do while your waiting. The guy is having trouble so dont beat him up about it im sure he does that enough himself.

Being one with first hand knowledge of shooting his mouth off before really thinking things thru I can understand where some people are coming from,BUT! beating on someone because he may be overwhelmed with everything going on in an average person's life and then still have time to answer all our sometimes stupid questions plus provide us with better components than we could get else where.I haven't heard anybody complain about the manual being worthless!! So give a guy a break and have some patience,where would most of us be without Greg?

Yeah, I am going to go ahead and start the interior work and finish the wiring harness. Maybe find out where some of the wires go under the dash that are hanging down going nowhere. I think they went to amps no longer in the car.
