For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

Yeah, they sell good stuff. Although, I believe this is where Expuppy bought his electric booster that didnt do so hot (pun intended). Thanks for posting it though, forgot about them and currently need some brake stuff.

It seems so much easier than anything else out there. TonyG is looking at going to this, and with his # of laps, etc, it seems like its the high $ option way to go.... anyone else??

I have extensive dealings with abs. I used to live not too far from them. I use their system with great results. Expuppy's problems were a result of a improperly routed or shielded brake line, not a fault of the system itself. They were great to deal with. This topic has been beat to death, not interested in debating it. All I can say is the system will put you through the windsheild, consistently and I have over 15k miles on it.

Ya, I talked to him. I will buy the parts if you give me the list or location as to where these extensive debates are. There seems to be so much all over the boards. I am trying to ammass the major FAQ's somewhere, as the sticky's on the other boards suck.

I was curious about the price.
However, you can pick up a low mileage mustang hydroboost off ebay for about $150-200. Another $100 or so to get the lines all situated, and $300 for a brand new Turn One PS pump that's correctly modified for our racks and hydroboost. Seems like a cheaper and better way to go (plus it's OEM, so designed to last at least 150k miles).

If this is all it is, I will buy it. However, they hydroboost thing makes me nervous, but so does an aftermarket electrical pump....

It looks like the abspowersystems setup is just an electric hydroboost, really...
All things being equal, i'd trust the PS pump to provide the pressure more than an electric motor.
The only thing i'm unsure about with the hydroboost is whether the m/c bore size is well-matched to our calipers. "Admin" has done the swap on a few cars and says it works well, though! I suppose it would be fairly easy to mate up whatever m/c you wanted to the hydroboost unit anyways...
