HOW TO DO AN ADVANCED SEARCH.

Mon Jul 08, 2013 3:56 pm by Admin

For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.

When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).

After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

Adding Purge Solenoid Wiring to Standalone Harness Empty Adding Purge Solenoid Wiring to Standalone Harness

Post  ndog52 Tue Mar 12, 2024 12:12 pm

Hi guys, I have very limited wiring experience and was hoping for some specific instruction on how to add my EVAP purge solenoid wiring to my aftermarket standalone harness and stock PCM.

I am mostly finished my ls swap and have decided to add in the stock GM EVAP system to properly deal with the fuel tank vapors. So far I've pulled the stock connector and wiring from my stock harness so that I can add it in to my aftermarket harness. I know that the green/white wire needs to be added to pin #34 of the red PCM connector, but my main question is what do I do with the pink wire? Where and (possibly more importantly) HOW, do I add this to my aftermarket harness?

I've attached pictures of both my EVAP wiring and a picture of the fuse block of my aftermarket harness. I assume I need to add the pink wire to one of these fuses somehow to get ignition signal? I really don't know what I'm doing. Some help would be very much appreciated!

Bare with me... I can't figure out how to orient photos properly with the Servimg function...
