fuel tank sender
your 78 takes a sender from 76 -85 944. - they all had a metal tank, they went to a plastic tank after 1985
they have gotten real expensive, I have a new one i would sell for 300, most are 350 up. hard to find a good used one. they are held in from the top with screws. you might take out there is a fine wire inside that usually breaks. good luck, LARRY - ACAR24
