HOW TO DO AN ADVANCED SEARCH.

Mon Jul 08, 2013 3:56 pm by Admin

For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.

When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).

After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

seems like it. as I go thru threads on this website I see more and more dead and unfinished threads from 10 yrs ago. sad as I love to wrench but I like a guide and prepped parts. 2300$ for a set of headers is a bit much . and I always support the small shops if I can. guess ill have to mix up the r/h and tpc parts to get were I need to be

Honestly, unless you are trying to make big power, you don't need the expensive long tube headers. TPC has shorty manifolds that work great and are reasonably priced. As far as r/h parts, good luck. They stock nothing for the 944 swap now. It all has to be made to order and very expensive from them. Kent at TPC has the majority of what he sells in a kit in stock. TPC is a one man operation. Doesn't get much smaller than that.

I agree Texas performance is the way to go coupled with the folks on here. The kit they sell is a starting point. Their tubular manifolds are good too. I purchased a set when they first came out and they are good to go. I would love a set of long tube but I have not desired to purchase them at the cost especially since the tubular manifolds are pretty awesome. Don't get discouraged, it's definitely worth it in the end.
