The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.

When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).

After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

1986 944 Turbo

I took my dash out a year ago. I thought I would remember where everything went. I did pretty good but there is one connector that I just cant remember what it is used for.

Wires are black and green. It has two contacts on the back of it. It is located under instrument console and is hanging on the ignition side of the column.

Any thoughts?

I looked and couldn't find it. Could it be the one that connects to the odometer reset?

There is a plug on the back side of the ignition switch, just to the side toward the steering wheel. It should be easy to get to if the instrument cluster is still out.

Looks like it went to one of the dash switches, the switch came apart and part of the switch is still in the connector.
