The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

I found this link on the Griffin Radiator website. It is a good article on cooling systems and the second half is specifically on LS Cooling Systems including: great flow diagrams, pictures, descriptions; LS cooling system plumbing variations for conversions (like heater delete), single row vs dual, does dual-pass cool better?, how steam vents work, etc. Lots of good stuff worth the read.

Yup. The bigger 3/4" is return from heater and the smaller 5/8" is the supply. So thats weird. Also, they have the hoses (post heater core) going to an expansion tank which is also weird. Surprised they didnt mention a recirculatory valve like the H-valves we use.

?'s
a bit off topic, where would I find the parts to put the system in my car back to the "stock" conversion way? I have an extra few hoses where the windsheild resevoir goes to help increase the volume of fluid by the PO. I want to just put them back.
I have ordered a manual, but its on its way, I won't get it for a few weeks....
Thanks.

Re: Cooling System
If you can post up some pictures of current plumbing that would really help everyone give you a good path to clean things up.
