For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

Dual Master Cylinder Manual Setup
Hi All,
Looking to remove my hydroboost setup and switch to a dual master manual setup. Does anyone have a firewall adapter / bracket setup for sale? or the needed drawings to make one? I am happy to purchase either.
I saw a drawing from greg's manual, but it seems to be missing dimensions / does not have the correct hole pattern for the 3 firewall mounting holes.
Thanks!

Re: Dual Master Cylinder Manual Setup
I actually ended up having a shop make mine, but my best advice would be to buy one of those pre-made firewall braces, and then you can really easily get all of your measurements for the hole patterns and locations. Here's a picture of mine right now as it sits on the floor...
NOTE: I had them install that silver heat shield, but after getting the (ceramic-coated) headers hot, and feeling around, i don't really think it's necessary, so I'm going to remove it since it blocks access to my spark plugs.

What’s going to happen to your hydro post setup?

I will post it up here for sale for probably 1/4 the price from Texas Performance, but it may be a few months. I haven't had the chance to get the mounting hole location for the three holes on the firewall where the booster normally attaches.

Curious to know why you are switching from a hydro boost to dual MC. Thanks

I hit debris in the road that took out my power steering rack. Once that happened i switched to a manual rack. This required putting a new power steering reservoir with a return line to just run the hydroboost. This meant more power steering lines running around the engine bay than when I actually had power steering....i just want to have a cleaner setup with less lines to leak or fail.

Nice seeing the ingenuity of the different DMC setups and firewall plates still continuing here.
I agree extra fluid lines near headers is not ideal. Where's that picture of the burning 944 here?

I am taking speedfreak's design and modifying it. I believe he's posted on here before.

He was nice enough to provide me with a step file. I plan to adapt it to use a tilton 600 series bias bar and design a pushrod to weld to that.
I have Wilwood 120-6806’s in the rear and Wilwood 120-6816’s in the front. I plan to adjust the pedal for a 6:1 ratio. Ill be using a ¾ front and 7/8ths rear as a starting point as recommended by Wilwood.
