For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

Renegade LT1 Clutch Question
I apologize for not placing this in the SBC section but I saw the last post was many months ago. I have a 968 with the Renegade L1 swap but no info came with the car. Renegade lacks any customer support except for their prior LT1 product except for telling me if I sent them my clutch disc they would have it relined for $350.
I don't need to do a clutch job yet but would like to assemble all the parts for a complete job. I have searched everywhere and even spoken with owners of LT1 swaps but no one had any idea what components were used for the clutch assembly. I just found this forum so hopefully someone knows. I'm looking for the fly wheel, pressure plate, clutch disc, throw out and needle/pilot bearings. The clutch fork as well if anyone knows. Several people told me the pressure plate is from a "Dodge truck" but that's not very specific. I'm assuming the clutch disc was a custom part with Porsche splines and disc size to match some as yet unknown to me domestic pressure plate.
Thank you in advance for any help.

Re: Renegade LT1 Clutch Question
Slave Cylinder - '84-88 Vette, GM#14087254.....I think the fork is from the same model, you should research that.
Pilot bearing adapter from TPC Which uses a Porsche 944 pilot bearing
GM bearing retainer - Richmond #1304027001
Flywheel 153 tooth, LUK LFW130 - you will need to verify that.
PP, 10.5" 86 or newer GM, Can't remember the part #.
Disc is a 10.5" GM with a 944 spline. I had mine made by McLeod, contact TPC and see if they can get one made for you.
Can't remember what the throwout bearing is.

Re: Renegade LT1 Clutch Question
This pilot bearing doesnt need an adapter (LT1 and SBC only)
AC Delco # CT1082
GM # 12557583
I think the clutch disk i used was from a 70s challenger and the pressure plate and flywheel was from a 90s iroc.
