For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

Looks like you need to move your hydroboost over some. Try slotting the holes on the adapter plate. Depending on how far you need to move it, you may have to modify the linkage to the brake pedal as well.
You could even try shifting the motor over some. Did you use crossmember spacers?
I think most of these end up being around 3/8 to a 1/4" away from the hydroboost. Its close....

Had the same issue with my conversion. I had a machine shop modify the aluminum valve cover by cutting down a section in the back where the hydro boost sits. Of course they welded the aluminum to give it a shaved look in that back section and removed the piece that was sticking up on the valve cover. Still a tight fit but it worked.

That’s exactly what I ended up doing I was able to find somebody that had the exact same issue as you and I up in Canada and he sold me the modified driver side valve cover with a billet aluminum flat cap over the old pcv valve.

need help with valve cover modifications for HB
been slowly making progress on my conversion after taking a long hiatus. life got in the way.
anyways, i am ready to pull out the grinder and trim the back of the driver's side valve cover but i'd rather be sure about what i'm doing before i go down the path of no return.
I only have a fluxcore welder and i believe the valve covers are aluminum not steel?
so what's the easy way to solve the pcv cap at the back of the valve cover after its trimmed? do i need to take it to someone to braze it or is there some sort of low profile cap that can be attached mechanically?
noticed some fellow canadians that posted on this 3 years ago; here's hoping they see my post on where to get said billet piece and what to do with it to solve the known clearance issue. instructions from TPC for "top weld on" left me at a loss since i don't know what i would weld on much less i bet i have the wrong type of welder for what i guess is aluminum since rest of block is aluminum. any help appreciated.
