For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

1985.5 944 Roller: Good condition, Nice Cheap Swap Candidate $1200
Hey guys,
Selling my 1985.5 Porsche 944 Roller
The car has 150k on it or so, but the body is in decent shape. Has some paint defects and damage if you look closely, but nothing too major.
The car is silver in color with a tan interior
Extras:
Extra OEM 944 parts I have (everything)
Low mileage 944 torque tube
Much more
V8 Stuff included:
3/4" Subframe spacers installed
TPC Mounts installed
Complete Corvette fuel system: OEM Filter/regulator, Push Lock lines and fittings (Not installed)
Can include more for extra $$ (cooling system etc.)
T56 Rear subframe I have started on
Front radiator support has been cut out and replaced with a tubular one for better air flow
Wheels:
18x10.5 and 18x8.5 Turbo Twists
Tires have a season left on them
The Bad:
Rear of car is cut for a T56 transmission. This is easily fixed with some sheet metal work
Missing some bits and pieces (braking M/C and booster, random interior bits)
It's a project
If you're looking for a decent cheap start to a V8 project, this car is for you. You just need to understand there will be some work involved in completing it. I've done all the hard stuff for you (removing motor and trans, spacing subframe etc.) ESPECIALLY if you'd like to do a t56 swap.
My asking price is $1200 which is think is MORE than fair considering the car can easily be parted for that. ($500+ for wheels and tires, $200 for mounts, etc.)
PLEASE CALL OR TEXT WITH ANY QUESTIONS OR INQUIRIES. I RARELY CHECK ON HERE
