The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

what intake elbow are you using?
As the title states, I'm curious as to what you guys are running. I purchased the one on eBay with the nitrous bung, but it too long and I wouldn't be able to close my hood. Does anyone else have fitment issues? Pictures would be appreciated! Thanks

I'm using an aluminum one. I had to cut a bit of an angle on it to clear my hood pin. If you have the stock hood latch you may not be able to use this one or you could try to cut enough out of it so it fits.

Can you elaborate? What did you use and how did you form it? ThanksAdmin wrote:Hand make one, That is what I did way back when......
As for hood pins...I'd like to try and keep the stock latch in place if possible. I noticed I have the same elbow as you Spence.

I have a 90deg elbow that necks down from the throttle body to the MAF. It needed to be trimmed to just enough to fit around the intake and undercut to tilt it down. The latch still needed a corner trimmed off. I got it from here [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

I built mine out of a piece of 4" exhaust tubing and a 3.5" piece along with some spare sheet metal.
Re: what intake elbow are you using?
I just so happen to have some extra 4" mandrel bent exhaust piping.
I also have given some thought to the aero latches... I like the look and functionality of them, some of them are also locking with a key.

Ya, they're a great design.... I used them on mine; I recommend them if you go the hood pin route
