For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.

What Intake Elbow to Use ?
I have a 944S 1987 with a LS6 swap. I am wanting to keep the Hood latch and the headlights bar, but I have limited room for the TB intake boot. Does anyone have a part number or company to source this ?

Re: What Intake Elbow to Use ?
My buddy just bought a 3D printer, and we think using some of the tougher material, we are going to try and design an eblow to go between the throttle body and the intake. This might help with some clearance issues. The output could even be tipped down a couple degrees. I think I might even be able to remove the cross member spacers if I did this.
I know it's a little off-topic, but anyone have any thoughts on this?
Obviously, you don't need a 3D printer for this, you could do it with steel or aluminum just fine. It's just for fun we want to do the printer idea.

I tried one of those "cobra" hoses but couldn't get it to tuck under the hood. I ended up cutting out the hood latch and using a simple 90 bend from these guys: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
