Transmission temps?
Anyone here logging them while on the track? I just ordered a gauge and sender, and will install before my next event.

Don't worry, I'll let you know what mine says in a few weeks when I get out to Barber Motorsports.

Flogged the car at Barbers this weekend, great weather, mid-70's and sunny. Trans temp never exceeded 190oF on the Turbo S trans with stock coil cooler. At that temp, I don't see the need to make an aftermarket one.

Great news. How did you end up plumbing the gauge? I want to add a 1/8 NPT temp sender in the cooler loop. Did you find a fitting? What were the threads? Thanks.

I went in through the drain plug. Ended up drilling a hole in the plug and then welding a nut to the outside of the plug. The sensor is then screwed into the nut.
