The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

Re: Tubular cross member
Just got my cross member from Eric. Very nice.
Bare in mind this is a non A/C unit but, I'm sure he'll do a great job on that model as well.
Regards
Mark

Re: Tubular cross member
Admin, please PM me a price (if you have that set) for the LT rack. In what circumstances would I need the bump steer kit?
Re: Tubular cross member
Thank you, PM received. I will probably be in touch in the next month or so.

Re: Tubular cross member
That price is reasonable. What is the lead time? Can't do it right now but maybe summer.

Re: Tubular cross member
I have seen some mention of AC vs non AC unit (I will want the ability to have AC)- what is the difference for the LT1 cross member?
Re: Tubular cross member
Think it'll fit/work for a RHD (right hand drive) Turbo S as well ? i.e. in terms of steering wheel to rack coupling clearance...

Re: Tubular cross member
Admin- is that bump steer kit going to be adaptable to the manual steering tie rods?
Re: Tubular cross member
There is no differences for the LT1 as far as the ac or no ac setup,
Right hand drive I have no Idea! I don't have a car around here to test fit it on.
I have not test fit it on a manual rack yet. All I can say is that if it has the same tie rod end as the power rack of an 87' NA or Turbo it'll fit. Or send me a used tie rod end and I'll custom make it to fit.

Re: Tubular cross member
The manual rack tie rod ends are male threads instead of female- I can send you mine if you want, my car won't be going anywhere for a while once it gets into the garage. I'll be ordering an xmember before the end of the month.

Re: Tubular cross member
With the new headers in, I was curious how things were going with the cross member? Does it look like they may work together?

Bringing this one back from the dead.
Does anyone know if this is still available? Does it work with LSx motors in the 951?
Thanks,
