For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.

When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).

After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

How much did they go for? Not asking for one, just looking at options. That would replace the uprights and shaved pan right?

Price doesn't matter, I only made a few and will not make any more. It's something that you would have to make and design yourself.

Im asking how much I should pay for someone locally to do design one. My fabrication skills aren't great. I'm more of a wiring/electronics guy.

You know that you can use a Milodon p/n 31070 pan? Unless you have a late block with the dipstick on the right side. If you do you need to modify the pan to swap sides like I did.

The Milodon p/n 31070 will fit without modification? The dipstick is on the left.

The Milodon 31070 has a left side dipstick which is 1955-1979. In 1980 Chevy moved it to the right side. I have no idea why. My block is a 1984 so I modified the pan to have the dipstick on the right side. It fits otherwise without issue.

I have the engine upside down with the crossmember and steering rack in this picture from my album.

This pan is about $250 new but I found mine on e-bay for $150. If you have a left side dipstick it should bolt on as is.

Can the OE oil pickup be used with this pan? If not, do you know what pickup is needed?
