For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

just wanted to let you guys know i just got a bellhousing gm#12551118 1pc and the guy i got it from said he has one more if someone is interested let me know i'll set you up with him

I think I paid a maximum of 100 shipped for mine. The auto bellhousings are not that popular for some reason. All it takes is some simple modifications for it to work for us.

I paid the equivalent of $50 for mine...
2 cuts for hydraulic lines and you're in business.
$175? I can buy a NEW 2-piece for a few $$ more...

ok i got it i paid to much but i have spent more for dumber stuff so it is what it is nice guy and he did some leg work for me all i can say is call him he may let it go cheaper

thanks i'm building a 1985.5 944 black on black i have a nasty 400 ci small block that my father and i build some time ago and had it in a c4 vette but pulled it and sold car and just fell into this car three years ago so were going in a different direction than most. the motor is putting down some major torque it will kill any normal porsche transaxle so the build begins i will keep up in pics and drawings so someone else could follow it

ok well i'm going witha corvette c5 zo6 torque tube and 6spd c5 zo6 trans axle with the stock porsche suspension and hybrid cv's don't know if anyone has done this but i'm going to make it happen this would be really nice if it works well
