For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

Planning to sell my 1988 944 Turbo S LS conversion Silver Rose
Hello LS conversion community. I'd appreciate hearing your advice.
I am planning to sell my 1988 944 Turbo S LS conversion Silver Rose bot I don't know what to sell it for.
It's in pristine condition because I spent a fortune getting it repainted, the rear hatch and mirrors and door handles are from a 968, all new suspension, all new upholstery, I also had the 8-way seats totally rebuilt to be more like race seats, BBS wheels and the LS has a custom cam that enables the engine to produce over 400hp. I had the LS swap work done by a Porsche Gold Certified mechanic who works at a dealership in the local area.
I live in North Carolina (U.S.) and I am hoping "you guys" will help me figure out what I should sell the car for. The odometer says 170k miles, however the LS has only between 50-60k miles on it and it is super strong and fast.
I'd really appreciate hearing your advice. Feel free to email me at [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.].
Thank you,
Bob

One of my clients sold his on there. It sold for over $40k. It is an auction site, but it gets good coverage for unique cars.

don't settle
you have one of the most coveted models in the rare color and swapped with a bunch of goodies.
people are paying stupid good cash for a stock silver rose, and perhaps the purists would value it more that way but anyone who builds or in this forum knows you got quite swapped unit there with a pretty precious transaxle in it with a beefier shaft in it if i remember my turbo s trivia well enough.
pity you have to sell the beauty but i'd say it demands a hefty number for the model and the build.

Thank you much guys. I haven't been driving it hardly at all in the last two years because I let my Porsche Club membership lapse and I got into bicycling big-time. But I took it out again last weekend and it's such an awesome handling, powerful and great looking car. It's just stupid for me to hand onto it if I'm not driving it. If there are other places you can recommend where I should advertise it and if you have any other thoughts on what price I should ask for it, please let me know.

Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist if you don't want to auction it at Bring-A-Trailer or Cars-N-Bids.

I'm in Raleigh with a 948 by the way.

Another vote for Bring-A-Trailer.
A few well equipped 944LS cars have sold for very good numbers there. Spend the time and effort to get it spotless, and to take excellent pictures and write a complete description.
