HOW TO DO AN ADVANCED SEARCH.
Mon Jul 08, 2013 3:56 pm by Admin
For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

FS: 1989 944 Turbo S w/ LS1
I built this car about 4 years ago. The LS1 is out of a 2000 camaro and has been completely rebouit with small over bore, new pistons, stock crank and rods, double roller, adjustable timing set, comp cam,
TPC oil pan and ceramic coated headers. A new custom made wiring harness from control unit to vehicle speed sensor and everything in between including deleting the secondary O2 sensors. Turn one P/S pump runs the rack and pinion and Hydroboost with Porsche master cylinder. Both work perfectly.
Car has Moton triple adjustable shocks and struts, not sure of spring rates but the adjustablity of the shocks make the car very streetable. 6 speed gear box from 968. Is much better suited to torque of LS engine, the rev splits between 3rd,4th, 5th, and 6th are 1000 to 1200 RPM.
I have included some pics of a small dent by windshield frame and paint flaking on rear bumper.
I have a ton of documentation on what has been done to the car. It will tell youy the specs of all engine components. Engine made 375 HP at the wheels when it was broken and then dyno tuned at 21st century muscle cars in Addison, Tx. Car is located in Dallas, it is licensed inspected and insured and title is in my name. Test drivers will need cash in hand and me in the car with them while they drive.
Oh ya, the left fog light is gone, it's where oil cooler goes now.
25 thousand is the price and it is negotiable, but not by a lot.
I will email pics to anyone who asks.
thanks
Phil
