HOW TO DO AN ADVANCED SEARCH.

For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

Hydro boost leak and trouble bleeding???
I’m on my 3rd hydro boost replacement(yeah) and second power steering pump replaced. I’m getting a chattering/pulsing brake pedal coming from my hydro boost. I have vacuum bled it(both from the reservoir and the low pressure port). I’m getting bubbles still from the low pressure return port from the distribution plate/block. I’ve got a uv leak kit coming but still. Has anyone else had problems getting their hydro boost bled and leak free? This is well past ridiculous and annoying. Any help would be appreciated. This is the ford hydroboost(‘04 Mach 1) and Porsche MC.
Thanks,
Mike

Re: Hydro boost leak and trouble bleeding???
I have an odd feel to the pedal but no other real issues after ~4 years of track duty.
I have the same setup as you describe and used the Turn One power steering pump.
I just kept the front wheels of the ground on initial start and let it self bleed with the cap removed from the power steering pump until the fluid was clear.
Don't think that helps but maybe furthers the conversation...

You don't say what hydroboost you have. I have a BMW hydroboost with an 80's Chevy Citation pump with the pressure dropped slightly. I haven't had any issues with it in 5 years.
