For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).

Drag set up
Figured i show my set up for a street car that I’ll use to drag race. It’s a 1987 944 n/a auto car. The current engine (unless i end up with a newer one) is a 2001 6.0l lq4 from a Chevy 2500. Trans is a 4l80e that me and my dad built (we have a tranny shop). Rear end is a Ford 8.8 from a 1998 explorer that i cut 3” out of one side to make it even. Stock 3.73 gears and posi. I used a generic $300 parallel 4 link from eBay. Fit with lots of cutting. It’s taking some time to put together but i hope to get around to finishing it soon.

Please post lots of pics. I want to do a pro touring build, and I'm going the same route.
