For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

DBW truck throttle body
Ok, I searched and couldn't find the answer to this so I am asking this question. I am at the point of gathering up the parts that I don't have for the engine. Will a DBW throttle body off of a 5.3 or 6.0 work with the LS1 Corvette intake, or should I look for a f body or y body one? I have the opportunity to trade some of the GM parts that I don't need with some things I do need.

Re: DBW truck throttle body
I don't think it will. The truck body is an 78mm DBW I am not sure on the LS1 size, on my LS2 intake with the DBW it is a 90mm I think.

Re: DBW truck throttle body
I doubt the TB diameter matters...but the ECU you are using e.g. using an E38 probably requires a DBW pedal from any model that ALSO uses an E38 ECU
In Google, type in:
DBW -DBC site:http://ls1tech.com/forums/conversions-hybrids
This will seach and bring up ls1tech.com forums posts that discuss DBW issue minus DBC issues and let us know what you find.

Re: DBW truck throttle body
Here's a link that has some good info on LSx interchangeability.

I have a truck 6.0L DBW TB ('08 Silverado HD) on my LS3 intake. No problems with fitment, but I haven't started the engine yet, so perhaps there are gremlins lurking. I picked up a compatible pedal from a local wrecker for $6.
