For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

WTB: manual sunroof rear brackets!

my motor tooak a crap on me and im done messing with it. if anyone has a set for sale or knows where I can get a set I would appreciate it. please dont send me to the set thats $200+. I have looked into this enough to know people sell the same thing for $50. thanks guys.

I'll have to look at the parts I have. They are from an early 924 but might fit. I have a 924 and 944 sunroof so i can test fit the parts.

Looks like all of the 924 parts bolt onto the 944. I have almost 2 sets.

Both sets need bearing brackets replaced--small plastic piece available from Pelican Parts for $4.50 each their P/N 477.871.219.M100. I seem to remember someone also has these in aluminum. The OEM ones are plastic.
$25 for the complete set and $20 for the other set plus shipping. I think the stock 944 pieces will work for the second set.
