Found oil pan

I was looking around and came across the Moroso 20140 oil pan, which looks alarmingly like the one for sale on renegade hybrid site. It says it's fit for the LS1. Does anyone know anything about the fitment of this pan?

I've been looking for exact dimensions but I've yet to be able to find anything.

Yes, that is the one to use. It still has to be modified.

Not only does it have to be modified, it does not come with a pick up tube nor does it come with any good baffles in the pick up area.

Yeah, not sure why you wouldn't just use the TPC oil pan.. the work has already been done for you and will probably end up costing the same.

A couple reasons. I'm trying to minimize costs, and increase my skillsets. I figure I can buy a pan, a couple sheets of aluminum, and practice welds. I've welded steel before (years ago) and could make a nice bead, however I've never done it with aluminum, and once I add that skill to my list, it makes it possible to do a lot of other things. I've also never created my own parts before, only replaced broken parts with OEM parts from a factory, so I'm hoping to get over the hump of having never done it, to learning how to do it. Sure I might only save a couple bucks, or end up spending a couple extra bucks, but then I have a practical product that I learned how to make.

The whole conversion is a learning process for me, and I want to get as much knowledge and skills out of it as I can. I could buy it all and bolt it on, but then I wouldn't have learned how to do it myself.

That pan is steel, not aluminum.

the TPC pan has a very nice baffle design. So far on track the typical high G force left handers have not dropped my oil pressures. This TPC designed pan may save you from having to buy expensive baffles and an Accusump if you plan on doing any track events.
