For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.

How close to the motor can I mount the fluid reservoirs?
I bought a Tilton reservoir that has 3 individual chambers one for each brake circuit and clutch. The unit is made of a thick fiberglass/plastic material. The only space to mount it is behind the motor against the firewall. What do you think?

I'd be more worried about the brake master being so close to the headers.
My plan was to run the reservoirs on the brake master (no remote mounting) and have the clutch master mounted somewhere in that corner (required due to master being sideways). From there, I was thinking of adding a metal plate that attaches to the driver's side valve cover and goes under the master to hopefully reduce the amount of heat that the brake master and that area in general sees.
