After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

I got one off of Ebay. They come up every now and then on Rennlist. You are going to have to convert it to late offset. One method is found here [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Re: I need a manual steering rack
Just a heads up to anyone converting to manual on a late car and using the thread-rod method that was mentioned in the link above:
I bought the 30" or 36" "stick" of M14 thread-rod and I think it was a quantity of 25? of the jam nuts from McMaster-Carr. Needless to say I have enough thread-rod and jam nuts (you need 4) to do several more early rack to late outer tierod conversions. I highly doubt I'll be doing more than one.
Not looking to make money off it, just help out and maybe break even.
PM me if any interest.
Or you can spend $35 or so plus shipping and have plenty of leftovers like me!
Either way works.

Re: I need a manual steering rack
You can just weld the rod into the power tie rod end then you won't need the other jam nut.

Id give them my PS rack as a core.....you will need a steering shaft, but I had to extend mine since for some reason, my 1/2 spacers changed the geometry of the shaft and needed to be extended. Therefor, you can use your existing one and extend it as you see fit.

Re: I need a manual steering rack
Rockauto has them cheaper 284 + 28 core but they will charge shipping (probably both ways) whereas I believe AZ doesnt.
As for the steering shaft, both summit and jegs sell the correct u-joints (xschop) to do some radical header clearing mods to the shaft.

Craig Hardy Wrote: This is a shot of the drivers side...notice the extra joint in the steering shaft to clear the exhaust manifold. RH modified the steering shaft for me as well as the motor mount that now has a mounting bracket to locate the steering shaft. The other option is to modify some Carb legal shorty headers to clear the shaft.
