HOW TO DO AN ADVANCED SEARCH.

For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

LS Swap - Fuel and Auto Trans line question!
Hey all!
So I've finally got my LS in and running, however I need to plumb in the trans and fuel lines. When I got my shell, the lines were cut at the firewall, however they are in good condition so I plan on still using them. My question however.. I can trace two to the auto trans, however there are three more.. obviously one is for a fuel feed, another for fuel return.. however I'm stumped on what the remaining one could be for and where to plumb it, or if it's needed at all?
Is there an in and an out for the trans, will it matter which way I plumb it into my trans cooler?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Many thanks in advance.

I use a seperate trans cooler from radiator. It doesnt relly matter how you hook into stand alone trans cooler . If your using radiator it dont really matter either because they go into radiator on the pass side which is the cool side of radiator. Auto transaxles on a 944 run cool because its in the back and dont get to much heat soak from engine attributing to the longevity of it. Im pretty sure admin has done a auto trans conv on a LS but I havnt heard to much from him how it worked out.Ive got a sbc conv with a auto transaxle and have had only 1 issue with flexplae that bolts to converter but is an easy fix.andypandy wrote:Hey all!
