HOW TO DO AN ADVANCED SEARCH.

Mon Jul 08, 2013 3:56 pm by Admin

For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.

When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).

After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

Good Day Everyone

I am not really sure what to do here. I have posted several other times for assistance but I am really not sure what to do here.

I am working with am early SBC conversion using the 2piece C5 belhhousing/adapter package and motor mounts from TexasPerformance. The driver side valvecover will not go on. I am not sure even if sectioning it would allow for fitment. Perhaps the MC is not the right one? Can you all look at it and let me know if it is the correct one and what I can do to alleviate mt problem.

Thanks for helping,
Ed

the pictures you have posted havent been good enough to really comment on. if you can get some better pics some people may have some better feedback.

the master cylinder is always very close to the valve cover with these swaps. short (stock height) valve covers are tight. i know with the rocker girdle you need a fairly tall cover, i dont know if its going to be physically possible to make it all work. you may have to consider removing the girdle and going with a shorter valve cover.

Slot the holes in the adapter plate and move it over till it clears and make a new clevis to attach the brake pedal to make up for the offset to keep everything inline. Or maybe you could use cross member spacers.

The space you have is normal. I'm using hydroboost and I had to rotate it up just a bit so it would clear.

Ok...gotcha. Thanks for the feedback.

Can I get your feedback on this pic. Does this look ok or should I replace it? The hose looks suspect.
