For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.

When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).

After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

nice sunroof panel.

Any chance that you would build a vented header panel for a 951?

The factory sun roof weighs in at about 16lbs. That's just the roof panel with no hardware. Add in the motor and drive mechanism it is a substantial weight loose.
As far as the acrylic, Probably not going to happen. Unless someone wants to pay for the tooling, and molds, It would just be to expensive for the return on investment. Although I have ponder the thought of a glass insert,,, Razz

As far as the flood control, I'll turn it down a bit, but as long as there are "A" holes out there I have to do something too protect us. They have tried on numerous occasions and failed or only gotten so far. It's just part of the Forum daily problems!

If you can send me a good straight header panel I'll make a mold and add vents to it. I just have only one 951 type header panel and I will not be molding off of it. It's just to perfect to take a chance of messing it up.

The header panel is another piece i'd be interested in.
I think it would be easy to integrate something like the Acura Integra headlights too...eliminating the popup headlights and adding a vented header panel in one fell swoop.

I assume header panel = nose panel.

I would love a front NA solution. NA donors are way cheaper....

turbo look, integrated bumper, some kind of smaller round HL, nose vent, splitter, signals scribe cutout (for the street guys). $500-750?

Nope, the 944 nose/header panel has a straighter edge where it meets the bumper. The 951/s2 is rounder where it meets the bumper.

ask me how I know

Because you bought one as a replacement right? Yes they are different, I have both here on hand, and you are correct, the turbo is curved and the NA is some what straight.
The header panels are on the "to do" list, just have to find time to get to them. I seem to be limited to 28 hours in my day. Shocked Sad

Extended spoiler, Down the list a ways......................sorry.

gamman,
Patents "Grass hopper" good looks will come to those that wait........ Cool
