HOW TO DO AN ADVANCED SEARCH.

For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

In search of LT1 headers
Looking for LT1 headers. The headers we have on are the original RH swap and are showing their age.
From everything I could gather Sanderson CC90 would fit but when we tried them the driver side wasn't even close, it hits the frame rail. Also tried a set of block huggers that will not clear the steering shaft.
Other then sending the originals off to have a 2K set of headers built any suggestions or old LT1 swap headers someone wants to get rid of?

Re: In search of LT1 headers
You need two different Sanderson headers.
CC2 and CC90. I'm using these and they fit fine. I think I had to clearance one side of the frame rail slightly for the collector flange. I can't remember which side it was.

Yes we had the CC90 on the driver side. The CC90 is the one that's angled out some for steering shaft clearance. Do you have the 1 1/2" or 1 5/8" tubes? Ours looked like it was angled out too much, hitting the frame rail before sitting flush at the head. We bumped the frame rail in some with a hydraulic puck but it would really need to be notched to get the header to sit flush. Weird it fits on yours, and I've seen others using them as well?? I wonder if Sanderson changed the jig or maybe our motor is off some?? There's only about 1/2" clearance on the other side of the motor where the A/C pump sits. It's one of early RH swaps.
