HOW TO DO AN ADVANCED SEARCH.

For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).

928 LS1 Swap - Stock auto box question!
Hey everyone!
So I've just put an LS1 into my 928 and the wiring has begun!
I'm using the stock 928 transaxel and a 5.7L LS1.
I'm just wondering if there is any wiring required to link up the stock auto box to the ECU? Or will the TCM take care of that on its own with the stock Porsche wiring?
I'm splicing into the 14 pin connector for the most part of the LS1 ECU, however using the stock rear end confuses me a little on if any wiring is required, or what exactly is required for it to run?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Andy.

I'm not sure if anyone has completed one with a auto transmission. I would imagine it would need a rpm signal to operate correctly. Do you have the tcm wiring pinout?
