The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

after some time of gathering parts it has begun... my brother is a gm guy and all he can do is ask wtf were the germans thinking how they put things together. i think he just likes to bitch. lol. we were gonna take the motor out thru the bottom but he is thinking thru the top. It should be out tonite. I will be trying to photo as much as i can.
do have a question... we dont reuse the porsche rubber motor mounts correct? tpc motor mounts completely do away with the rubbers?

No - you will not need the original Porsche motor mounts. You are correct, the TPC mounts replace those.

Motor removal
taking it out the bottom is way easier... FYI
the write ups online make it seem harder but trust me... Way easier out the bottom.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]then today we adjusted the shaft to the correct length. that was a bitch at first. the only down point for the day.. we think we stripped one of the bolt heads on the TT clamp in the rear. its tight BUT when we go to replace the NA trans with my other one might it might give us an issue. HERE's the result..

did run into one issue and kinda expected it. the hood hits the throttle body with 1/2inch spacers. SOOOO now im debating on cutting the hood brace or lower another 1/4 inch. I think i need to find out the height of the magnuson supercharger that sits on top and replaces the intake. then i think ill make the decision. ill be removing the hood latch and replacing it with aftermarket ones.
I wanna give kudos to Eric and his parts. every part we have used so far fit perfectly on his end. the TT flange holes needed to be massaged just a little. If anybody is undecided on whether to go with TPC or Renegade.. GO TPC. Eric is getting me the long tube headers and the vss.
We are gonna try a different approach to the mustang hydroboost mount. ill post more if it works. I had to go back to work and my bro has some other projects to do first. Im just glad to get on it and get this far in 4 days.. motor out motor in

Looks great. Very excited to see if/what you and Eric come up with for the Mustang hb. I also have purchased my conversion parts from TPC/Eric and they definely the benchmark. Looking to get a few more in the future.

How did you adjust the shaft length? Did you get a longer or shorter coupler in the rear?

Re: Wave of terror coming!
Looking good!!
I'm about a month behind you with my own project but I do have almost all the parts. All from TPC... and I agree, Eric is top notch when it comes to customer support!! So far all the parts are A1 too with only a minor pan/pick-up tube adjustment.
I'm planning on installing my clutch and PP tonight as soon as I find out the best way to keep the PB adapter in the crank housing. NOT an interference fit like I expected... but close.
Other's have used green Loctite bearing mount to solve the problem. I'm thinking a little symmetrical knurling with a center punch would provide just the right amount of interference.
How did your PB adapter fit? ...any mod needed?
