For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

Got my kit today the swap is started

I got my big fed ex box this morning and I was like a kid at Christmas. The new short headers are a work of art, and the workmanship in all the parts is superb. I have installed the bellhousing and adapter plate to the torque tube, and got the oil pan installed. Tomorrow I should have the crossmember spacers in, and hopefully can find the pressure plate and go to the junk yard for some bolts that I dont know where they went. By the way, I am the idiot with what started out as a $400 87 automatic car, converted it to a manual and changed all the suspension from my 83 944.

You don't sound like an idiot to me, just a dedicated enthusiast! Have fun with the conversion, it has been some of the best garage time for me.
