HOW TO DO AN ADVANCED SEARCH.

For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.

When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).

After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

First start of my 1987 944S 16 valve….I love how proper German that sounds.

Factory new GM LS1 long block and used F body accessories cranked two rotations and fired up through RH open headers …..very loud with automatic grin maker fully functioning . I am amazed how the GM computer found a reasonable idle in just a few seconds open header without O2 sensors.

Exhaust shop gets a call in the morning.

That is the best sound ever! I still have a recording of mine with the same open headers. Conversion looks great, what type of exhaust is going in?

I have a shop that does high end custom stuff a few miles away. I am thinking 3 inch all the way out, flex joints off the headers, high flow cats and a stock location performance muffler with report on the milder side.

I'm in Haltom City , north of Ft Worth. My car is at TPC for the final sort.
