HOW TO DO AN ADVANCED SEARCH.
Mon Jul 08, 2013 3:56 pm by Admin
For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

WTB ls1 swap parts
Hi, I am new to this forum... I'm thinking about doing an ls1 swap in a 944. I have a car and ls1 engine in mind. I am just trying to see if anyone out there has some conversion parts they are trying to get rid of for whatever reason. (I just can't justify spending over $2000 on a kit). I will be fabricating most of the parts, unless I can get them fairly cheap from here or elsewhere. I will be needing a bellhousing adapter to the transaxle for sure and the pressure plate/clutch you guys use for the swap. If anyone has any tips as to where to get conversion parts for cheap let me know. Or if you would like to sell some, let me know as well.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Texas Performance Concepts
I think this is the only place you should get your parts!

Re: WTB ls1 swap parts
I can understand buying unused kits second hand to try and save some money (though no likely to find one), but IMHO, if you can't justify $2k on the conversion kit, then this is not the swap for you. That is the cheap part of the build.
Guys like Eric at TPC have made this kit about as affordable as it is going to get (and high quality), and they deserve to be supported.
