HOW TO DO AN ADVANCED SEARCH.

For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.

When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).

After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

oh yes it is definetly scary fast i have a 944 with a carb 350 sbc and its quick but nothing like the ls3 .just by itself the ls3 is a good running motor but adding a blower to it all i can say is wow.i have a project 944turbo that il be converting in future to ls3 and will consider putting a whipple on it

Question- why go whippel S/C instead of a Procharger setup? I would think the last place you want to be adding anything to these swaps is overall height. Looks like the Vettes that add them need a decent cowl hood to clear it.

Just asking, interested to know. The Procharger setups are pretty compact, but are placed where we have a small amount of spare room.

plenty of underhood room on camaro even though whipple is a little taller than most of the roots blowers it still has some clearance to hood.i looked at procharger but i liked the looks and design of whipple better.and i got a good deal package on install and dyno tunning.it did require a fuel pump voltage boost referenced controller.i havnt drove it to much due to fact i live in illinois and it is winter here.but i have driven a little and its very streetable with lots of power on tap .its very loud to as it has a chambered exsaust all the way back no mufflers or cats.
