HOW TO DO AN ADVANCED SEARCH.

For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.

When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).

After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

Firewall Reinforcement Plate Empty Firewall Reinforcement Plate

I am having the plate made by my local metal shop and will have an estimate for both stainless and 11 gauge steel.

I will be getting a single piece price and a price per piece assuming four are made at the same time.

The plate will be flat and cut to accommodate the OE brake and clutch master cylinders with holes drilled for the cereal bowl and the clutch master.

If anyone has interest in having one please let me know. I am not asking for commitments at this point since I don't have a price, but if more than 4 are needed it will lower the cost per piece.

I will be selling them for cost plus shipping. Not interested in making any money here, just need a plate so I thought I would offer this opportunity to the rest of you.

I think someone had an issue with the firewall plate creating some binding in the clutch MC pushrod. The plate needed an angle machined in for the brake and clutch MC's.

That is my understanding as well, however, I will leave modifying the plate to the user. I am not in a position to remove all of the hydraulics right now to figure out the angle and I need to return the model to it's owner.

Ok, here's the deal. If I order 4 or more they will cost 131.00 each plus 5% sales tax. Shipping would be by flat rate USPS box. Made of Stainless.

Cost of one is $250, two and three not significantly less.

Just flat. On my plate, I will be cutting out the area around the clutch mc so the plate fits over it entirely. I am not getting any flex in that area.

I will leave plate modifications to those who purchase the one produced.
