For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

Re: Autocrossing the 944/LSX
Have you upgraded your transaxle? Or increased spring# as you were contemplating?
How about Hoosier A6/7's ... if you haven't tried them, you must. I intend to use 335 and 345 x 18 A7's on the new AutoX'r.
What kind of track events do you plan on?

Found turbo transaxle with LSD, and I replaced CV Joints and halfshafts with chromemoly VW Transporter parts from Dans Performance Parts.
Went with beefier (21mm) torsion bars and went to 400# springs. Thing is, with the heavier springs, the front of the car is too high, so I may just go down a bit. Still running Toyo 888s, but may give the Hoosiers a try this year. Depends on how the taxman treats me

What about making the front adjustable?
Ground Control offers these-

Have you thought about running coil-overs on the rear? It makes height adjustment much, much easier, Not mention changing spring rates.

Yeah - I have the Koni coilover conversion on the front. I have adjusted them to the max and the nose will not come down any further. Looking at coilover conversion now, but have a blown Hummer transaxle replacement that is taking priority right now

Sporting sidepipes as an homage to the Corvette powerplant Please excuse the damage on the quarterpanel - truck just about rolled over me. Still in negotiations with the insurance company of the owners of the truck

Went through your threads but couldn't find it... what hatch is that? I thought about replacing mine but all the ones I could find kinda looked weird in my opinion, but yours looks great!

It's called the Euro Hatch, and I picked it up from allporscheracing.com. Be forewarned: it's not cheap, but then again, after all I spent on the nose and wide body kit, it was just noise . Weak point areally the hinges, you really need to reinforce them.

Yeah - pictures of the site don't do it justice. Here's another shot. I modified it a bit to blend with the lip above the taillights
