For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

XSchop 1-off LS-V8 install kit
$1225 shipped anywhere in the US-48
I'm selling this as a complete set with the last 944 PS pump conversion kit. You can install any LS series engine including the truck motors (4.8 5.3 6.0) with or without AC using a C5 bellhousing. Comes with C5 adapter plate, Pilot bearing adapter and all hardware along with Texas Performance Concepts LS engine uprights that allow for AC if you choose. Also comes with a V8 specific billet-polyurethane transaxle mount and the X-member has been slot-milled for the setback. The X-member also has been line-bored for a 1" drop with 1" Billet spacers and clearanced for the oil pan on the passenger side steering rack mount as well. The rear control arms need NO spacers. I will include the Longer X-member bolts with the kit as well....I guarantee you'll have no hood clearance issues....
I'm also throwing in a Wilwood 13/16" clutch master upgrade adapter....
And will include a steering shaft lengthening mod, just send me your good steering shaft....
The only thing you need to get is a TPC bump steer kit and modded oil pan....

Still for sale..... I'll knock off $100 for local pick-up..
Someone asked, and the custom accessory bracket DOES fit the LS3 driver's side head. You would need an F-body Crank pulley...

Re: XSchop 1-off LS-V8 install kit
After chatting with Mike (fliermike) I would do the next one with only a 3/4" drop and 3/4" billet spacers. On this 1" drop, I had to trim the TPC upright studs all the way down to the locknut for A-arm clearance. The point here is to install the motor without cutting on the hood brace...Mike said his hood would clear with just the throttle body angle trim and 3/4" drop. A person would still need a bump steer kit (TPC) either way..... The shipping would be a hassle, but if I were sent a pre-paid UPS boxed X-member that would be the way to go and would only charge $250 for the mod and billet X-member spacers

Presumably you also put a 1" bump steer kit on that? (Is that the amount you're relocating the control arm?)

Re: XSchop 1-off LS-V8 install kit
Allen said you were going to build his car. Yes a TPC bump steer kit would be needed IF the 968 hood doesn't clear the trimmed throttle body. Either way, you'll also get a lower COG if you drop the engine down an inch. The TPC oil pan will get you maximum engine drop too with these uprights. He said he's doing hydroboost too so talk with Admin. He suggests 2004 Mustang hydroboost and has built other's 948's here with it and they are happy.
