For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

WANTED: 948 Conversion Manual
Hi all,
I'm sure many of you have a copy of the 948 Conversion Manual (http://944hybrids.pbworks.com/w/page/23818240/The%20Porsche%C2%AE%20944%20V8%20Conversion%20Manual)
I purchased one several months ago, and my order hasn't yet shipped. It seems like Greg isn't supporting it anymore. I managed to get in touch with him and he said he'd be printing and shipping copies in a few days (this was in October) and he hasn't gotten back to any of my messages since. I think I originally ordered a copy in July. It's a shame, I'm sure I'm not the only one waiting. I'm not trying to speak negatively on anyone, I get that he did this a long time ago and has seemingly moved on. He admitted to me that he was very surprised people are even still interested in buying the book.
At this point, I'm happy to purchase a copy from any of you at the price you paid for it. I really appreciate having a print copy of that sort of information as I go through my swap. I'm putting an LS1 in an '87 944.
If you have a copy you're willing to sell- let me know in the replies! I'm in the Bay Area, CA, happy to pick it up if anyone is local, otherwise happy to pay shipping! Thanks

RE: Swap manual
I have a copy of the 944 LS swap manual that I would sell you for $20 plus shipping. I would warn you that the manual is pretty old and many of the items covered in it have been updated. If you want to make your own parts such as engine mounts or accessory drive brackets, then the manual is useful. Now you can buy all of those parts. This forum has all of the information that the manual has and more. It just takes time to find it on the forum. If you prefer a paper copy, I will be glad to sell you mine. Thanks, Gil

Yeah I appreciate the point of view. I just love a paper copy and am upset about being ripped off for a copy and lead on for so long. Happy to give you what you want. I'll try sending you a direct message.

Hey Nathan - I tried sending you a message, not sure it went through. I'm in the Bay also, putting an LS2 into an '87 951. I don't have the manual you're looking for, but was thinking maybe we could meet up, compare notes, swap ideas, etc. LMK if you're interested. Thx.
