For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

WTB 944 V8 Conversion Manual

Anyone out there have a 944 V8 Conversion Manual they no longer need and would like to sell? Trying to locate one here since I haven't been able to get one from the source...

I have one with a basic conversion kit.... $550 shipped includes a V8 swap trans mount with Non AC uprights
$650 with AC uprights..... Specify LT1/SBC or LS engine for Pilot adapter

Rob makes some good quality parts. I've got the c5 bellhousing adapter plate and it look very good.
Most of the material in the conversion manual can be found on here. It is nice to have it all in one place, but the swap can easily be completed without the use of the manual. Take a look [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and you will find most of the diagrams for the parts you need to make. And then of course if you need any help just ask and someone will be glad to help.

All of the info is on here and in the Wiki at the top of the page. I have one and it has good information but it is not a step by step how to manual. It is more of a compilation of information.

Save your money. I got the manual recently from Greg and there's nothing in it that isn't already in the wiki or on this sight.
If you really want it, you can have mine for $25 delivered.

Mine's sold. It does have alot of useful info like line fittings and part#'s for various swap parts.

In case anyone searches for the manual, if you go to the wiki click the pages and files tab at the top. Most of the information is there for free.
