When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).

After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

Clutch slave cylinder on older LT1 swap Empty Clutch slave cylinder on older LT1 swap

So...purchased a 944 with an older LT1 swap already completed (around 2004). Having a problem with the clutch. Replaced the 944 clutch master cylinder because it was leaking. Low and behold the slave cylinder is no good either. The problem is I have no idea what slave cylinder to buy. Does anyone know what slave cylinder was used on the old LT1 swaps? Will you share a part number so I can get this car back on the road? Thank you.

I believe I found my answer....1988 Vette

I'm in the middle of this hell right now. Takes a '84-'88 C4 Corvette slave. I bought a new LUK AS-20.

The original GM slaves seem to no longer be available.

Unfortunately I've spent days attempting to bleed the system and cannot.

I think I finally got it working. Tried forcing the fluid up from the bottom. I had a ton of tiny bubbles in the fluid. Let it sit overnight and see what happens in the morning!
