The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

Re: Head light conversion buckets
That's what I was going to suggest as well. I found the site where you can just buy the Hella projectors on their own. They provide those to a lot of OEMs, so they're excellent quality, and they also sell different types of mounts and brackets separately.

Re: Head light conversion buckets
I am going to make the buckets available with old style rectangle baskets and I will have a bucket set with a flat back to mount projection type head lights, when I get these ready to sell you will order the style you want. They will come with matching lens covers for the bucket you chose. There is going to be 2 different lens cover do to some changes between the buckets.
Headlite Conversion
Im interested, and they look great, can you Email the details on ordering when you know?

Re: Head light conversion buckets
As a thought, for version two of the headlight buckets, would it be possible to build the bucket with a universal opening in the read and then make the adapter plate for the rectangle light bolt up to the rear. In other word, beef up the rear panel to make it stronger.
This would simplify the mold and lens, the two hardest parts to get right.
It would also allow for rear headlight replacements without having to remove the whole bucket or even the lens.
Then create a standard mount plate for the rectangle headlight, and a list of parts from either a pick and pull or store to fill it out.
Supply a CAD drawing of the plate and the standard mount points and let anyone who wants to fab a custom adapator do the work themselves.
just thinking here.

Seems like there is enough of a flange on the first set that a separate mounting plate can be fabbed, and the existing hole can be used to access the light units without having to take the whole unit apart.

Re: Head light conversion buckets
I have had a car in the shop that has taken most of my time. I'll get some time put in on them this week. Will up date as soon as I can.
New Buckets Finished
I have the final version of the buckets DONE!
These will be able to take projector beam lights or with a cut out, the old style rectangular bulbs.

Re: Head light conversion buckets
I'm waiting on MONEY to get the plastic for the lens covers, I already have the vacuum machine made and waiting. I just have to find the time to get them together. I will have pictures of a mounted set to post tomorrow.
