For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

I believe you will also need the CV joints as the 968 CV's were different lengths. The mount for the 968 and 951 transmission (I believe) may be different as well. Besides that, I cant think of anything else you would need.

Fox the CV I will order GkN motorsport axle , and as for mount I will need to find out
Hope all the shift linkage will be similar
But I think I will wait until I get a right LSD install and swap all at once
Right now I will just try to live with close ratio 6mt

Yeah, Im not sure about the shifter linkage either. I thought there was one or two guys on this forum with 968s. Hopefully they will chime in soon?

You will need the Torque tube, Transmission, shifter linkage(the tube part), and the mount. You will need to make spacers for the transmission mount as well. It needs to be spaced down about an inch.
Re: Building a LS1 968 track day project car
Thanks every one for help
I already bought two 951 transaxle one with cooler one without , In my country there are less then 20 951 exist so I better stack my own spare part
one 944 torque tube , shift linkage and mount , only thing I need is Motorsport axle and LSD

Gear count
You talk about a six speed track car, the 951 transmission is 5 speed unless my 951 transmission has a hidden gear somewhere.

Sounds like you have air in the system. Remove the small hose from the front on drivers side head, remove the radiator cap and put the small hose into reservoir and run engine. You might have to do this for several minutes and rev the engine to move any tapped air. Engine should run between first and second lines on the gauge when bled properly.

This is what I plan to do next
The shop who did the install
Have a vale on one of heater line , I think this is for bleeding air
But in the hot weatther where I live (100+f) I think bigger radiator is need it

Looks like a very nice swap! Let us know how the exhaust works out. It should make a big difference!

Really nice job, is that the x-pipe under the tunnel brace or just how the two exhausts were routed?
