HOW TO DO AN ADVANCED SEARCH.

For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.

When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).

Here's video of the second sprint from today's PBOC race at Barber. Started first in class and finished P1 in class despite a high speed spin in T1. Great weekend and the car worked well.

Nice track, it looks so smooth and flowing. Are you running a dual MC set up?

Had a good spin in the enduro as well. On a double yellow restart I took the far inside of the hairpin to get around a few cars. Trans was in 2nd and I thought to myself, this is where the V8 power is going to shine. Unfortunately, my foot went to the floor to quickly and the back end kicked out so fast that I could not catch it. Luckily I was so far on the inside that there was no one behind me Shocked

Yes, I'm running a DMC with AP masters. I am getting used to it, but still don't like how it was braking into the hairpin. I'm thinking that I'll have to do something, just not sure what at this time.

That's a great vid of an interesting race. Thanks for sharing. I cheered when you finally got by the huge arse of the Viper, only for you to give it back away! Bummer. Looked like your downshift slowed the rears under braking and you never got them back. I had a similar incident last weekend where an un-smooth downshift helped to lock the rears and I spun. I find the 944 harder to get back once it's sliding than the 911s I've had. This 944 has a lot stiffer suspension, perhaps it's more that than the balance.

From a race last fall at Barber [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Ended up 3rd overall and 1st in class. Beaten only by two cup cars, not bad for a beater car cheers

Here's a video from this past weekend at Barber. This was a fun race, I started P2 after missing poll by 0.03 seconds. The car in front is an fuel-injected hyabusa-powered car with an 8:1 weight:power ratio, just like me. The difference is that he is 200 rwhp and I am 350. You can see where the two cars differ on track.

You were much faster this year! You hung those corners with just enough squealing w/o losing drive. Early on the gas and some of your best laps you did 120mph down the straights from more corner speed the turn before.

GOOD RACING!

Maybe you should spin more often! After the spin, you were on the gas faster and more determined! I thought you were going to be wearing a Dodge logo on the front and a white "racing stripe" on the left side.

Fantastic! Those final laps was some quality racing. Bummer about the penalty.
