For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

Imo, the hardest parts of the swap are making a wiring harness, modding hydroboost, and modding/fabricating a dbw gas pedal. Seems none of those apply to you, so it should be a breeze.
Probably further down on your list, but wanted to see if you've figured out a bracket for the dbw gas pedal? Apparently the 89 S2 is different from the other models?..

UPDATE and Leaking Hydroboost
So I have been chasing Power Steering leaks for weeks. I have finally found a leak on the Hydroboost Block to the housing. I am pretty down right now since I think this is going to be a complete pain in the A%$$. The Silver block on the side of the Hboost from TPC is where the leak is. Has anyone seen this before? Is there an easier way to remove the block without removing the clutch MC? Just very very tight in there. What is the best way to go about removing the Block and reseal it whatever it needs? I guess I can remove the entire Hboost and Brake MC but that would be a huge pain since the Dash is back in the car....
What would be the easiest way to work on the Hboost block?
So Updates
I have the car running and driving. I have a few odds and ends to fix. She seems to be running ok

Sorry to hear you have a leaking hydro-boost.
I feel your pain because I went through what appears to be the exact same issue. Below are links to my experience. The process worked for me and I think the documentation will help you.
