For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

1991 944S2 Project for sale $3,000
1991 944S2 with 1997 LT1 out of a Pontiac Trans Am, 27,000 miles on it. Car has around 80K I think. Has been converted with all GM Performance Products to carbureted. Pretty sure I still have all the original LT1 fuel injection parts if you want them.
Bring a trailer and someone strong to help you load the motor.
- Engine has not been run by me but compression is all good. Came out of a soft rollover.
- Lt1 Hot Cam Kit
- Holly 600 Carb
- Mallory electronic distributor, do not have the ignition box.
- All Renegade Hybrid conversion parts
- Ron Davis triple core radiator with electric fan custom made for this conversion
- RH Custom Headers
The car was all together with the LT1 Fuel Injection in place ready to start wiring it up to the Porsche harness. Then had a life crisis and had to put it all on hold for about 5 yrs. When I got back to it about 4 yrs ago I made the decision to go with the GM Performance Products carburetor conversion on it and installed it all with the Hot Cam Kit.
Now I have to move and cannot take it with me . . Selling for about what I have into it.
$3,000 firm, would consider selling the car or the motor separately.
Local pickup only in Vernon Center, NY
If it is not gone by the end of August the car will be sold for scrap and I will take the motor with me for a future project.
I probably will not have time to check back here every day. Please text or call at 315-292-0854 only if you are seriously interested and have valid questions. Please no tire kickers.
