HOW TO DO AN ADVANCED SEARCH.

For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

928 custom plumbing.. thread pitches / gauges for p/steering, aircon etc!
Hey all,
Up to the pluming stage of my LS1 conversion.. Just wondering if anyone can assist in the thread pitches / gauges for the crucials for custom lines? I'm looking at making AN lines, however require the porsche end of sizes. Does anyone have the thread pitch / gauge for the Power steering rack? AC lines? ATF lines? or assistance of where I could obtain them?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Many thanks,
Andy.

I just bought the adapter fittings for power steering, the size was in xschop's 928 build thread (I think?), but I believe it was m14 x 1.5.
edit:
I went looking and was puzzled to not find it.
Apparently it was one of the comments edited out when the thread migrated from R-list, but the listed needed parts are as follows:

Thanks very much mate, appreciate your input! Ordering the parts as we speak!
By any chance, are you running the renegade custom sump? Do you happen to know the fittings required from sump to oil filter relocation?
Thanks alot,
Andy.

Re: 928 custom plumbing.. thread pitches / gauges for p/steering, aircon etc!
Sorry, I'm building mine from bits and pieces, but mostly derived from the TPC parts.
That said, measure the threads, and look up AN fitting thread diameters.
Also, XSChop's thread eventually said that he had the assembled PS hose fail and he replaced it with a hose from a local hydraulics shop.
I went that way to start with, instead of buying the 2' of hose and the Russel fittings.
