The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

I used to do lots of V8 swaps but the last few years I haven't had one on the shop.
this one will be getting a LS3 engine with a full roll cage and wide body kit.
we started on this one doing the body 1st. sadly the QTR;s had been cut off the car when we took delivery of it. so we had to make new back half of the QTR's as not to have the wheels open to the inside of the car.
this car will only be used for racing so we don't have the street car amenities to deal with.
we will be bonding on the QTR panels today and blending them into the cars body.

was a productive day I got the bumper brackets made and molded into the rear bumper and extended the ends of the bumper to meet up to the body.
bonded the QTR's on with panel bond adhesive then fiberglass clothed over the seam.

typical fiberglass nothing fits worth a dam but I did get the body lines to match up ok and skimmed over the area with body filler.

I got both Qtr's molded into the body now it's onto making the front part of the outer wheel houses. to save some weight I'm feeling I will make them out of some very thin aluminum sheeting.

I don't know what the customer is going to run for wheel sizes he is having wheel made for the car.
I will know more when he gets them to me we need to build a rear diffuser and a front splitter for the car.
for me to design them I will need to know the static ride hight so I then can put the info into our aerodynamics program to run some simulations to come up with the best aero package for his car.
